My desire for connecting through media can be traced to childhood, where I explored story through art, writing, and rudimentary filmmaking: foundational building blocks for my pursuits.

I attended Wright State University in Dayton, OH, majoring in Motion Picture Production, drawn by the reputation of the university's dynamic and award-winning film school. My experience testified to the claims and I began nurturing my larger passions for story craft.

I was also able to parlay my natural media skills into a work-study job that gave me first-hand experience with computer design and publishing. I combined these talents in pursuit of my first real-world job was as a graphic artist for the Air Force. For ten years I worked as a contractor, motivating clients to embrace broader forms of multimedia.

The desire to synthesize my talents further gave birth to Arclight Studios in 2000, an independent film company which has produced a handful of short films and serves as the umbrella for some of the work you see on this website.

My creative passions were also fanned into flame when I started Design District in 2004 with business partner Ben Callahan. Together we worked on a variety of projects, from web to video, much of which is also contained on this website. The partners separated in 2008 to focus our talents on our areas of expertise, but we continue to collaborate.

Currently I reside in Marietta, GA with my wife Elizabeth, who is pursuing her dream as a screenwriter.
